WERD (WA Educators Read and Discuss) Book Study

In partnership with OSPI, CSTP is excited to host the WERD (WA Educators Read and Discuss) Book Study. These statewide book studies are open to all educators in Washington State including teachers, paraprofessionals, principals, administrators, and ESAs. This 2025-26 school year we will be doing another round of Brilliant Teaching: Using Culture and Artful Thinking to Close Equity Gaps.

These courses are free, with a small processing fee to register your clock hours.

If you are interested in serving as a facilitator for our small group discussions, please fill out this interest form! Please note that we are limiting the number of participants to ensure a balanced ratio of facilitators to participants so make sure to register soon!
