The Center for Strengthening the Teaching Profession is turning 20 this year, and we need your help! We’re looking for people who CSTP has positively impacted to tell us about it in a video message that can be used on our website and social media channels anytime between now and during the 2023-24 school year.
We would love to hear your teacher leader stories reflecting on how CSTP has supported you through the Big Idea and Themes below.

- Collective leadership
- Strong partnerships
- Building capacity for Equity and Inclusion
- Genuine measures of student growth
- Performance expectations for all
- Systems thinking
- Other as an option to check and fill in?
Please keep your video under 2 minutes and address both- a Big Idea and whichever Theme you choose from above. We want these videos to feature only you, so please avoid background noise or distractions like students, pets, or groups of other people. Your video should be as informal and natural as possible. Set up a tripod, or you can have someone else shoot it on your phone or iPad. However you decide to record it, please ensure the audio is clear. No stopwatch, no strict rules – just address the Big Idea and a Theme in a way that best conveys your message in under 2 minutes. Submission of your video is your permission for CSTP to use it as they see fit.
We will have two submission deadlines: July 31 and September 31. A random drawing will be held with the names of all video creators to award a small prize after the July 31 deadline and again after the September 31 deadline. The best way to submit your video is to email a link to your video with the ability for staff to download your video. From the link, videos will be uploaded to YouTube for easy access and viewing.
