Etc/GMT+3

The Center for Strengthening the Teaching Profession (CSTP) is sponsoring a one-day NBCT Leadership Conference on the east and west sides of the state this spring.

  • Saturday, April 28, at the NorthEast ESD in Spokane.
  • Saturday, May 19, at the Puget Sound ESD in Renton.

The goal of this conference is to develop the leadership skills of National Board Certified Teachers and provide an opportunity for NBCTs to network with other teacher colleagues in order to learn how to influence education reform and seed innovation beyond their classrooms.

The Conference will provide NBCTs with time and information to think about their current roles as leaders and what roles they might like to pursue in the future in order to positively impact student learning at the school, district or state level.

The Leadership Conference is offered to NBCTs who have not attended a NBCT Leadership Conference in the past. The cost is $30 per person and space will be limited. Registration will open at the end of March, but in the meantime, save the date and stay tuned for more information at the end of the month.
